Dr. Rafael Carrales, Dentist

Dr. Carrales received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas Pan American and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Texas A&M College of Dentistry.

Dr. Carrales practices all areas of general dentistry and strongly believes in preventive and conservative dentistry. He works with his patients coaching and educating them to pay daily attention to and care for their oral health.

Dr. Carrales attends continuing education courses monthly and is always researching the newest information in dentistry. He is the first and only dentist in the Valley to be certified by the Academy for Sports Dentistry. He obtained his certificate in Dallas, TX, and uses the same equipment that is used by professional sports teams such as the Dallas Cowboys and many others. If you need a sports guard, he's your guy!

In his spare time, Dr. Carrales enjoys spending time with his two sons, running, riding his horse, and competing in team roping all across Texas.

Gina Rinehart, Dentist

Dr. Gina Rinehart received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Texas Lutheran University and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry.

Dr. Rinehart enjoys all facets of the dental field, ranging from simple restorations and root canals to crown and bridge work, and even state-of-the-art all-on-4® dental implant restorations. Although she enjoys all areas of dentistry, her favorite is working with children! Her kind demeanor helps put anxious patients at ease.

Dr. Rinehart is committed to continuing education and takes many advanced courses each year to enhance her skills to better serve the dental care needs of her patients and provide them with a gentle and comfortable dental experience. Her most recent certification is in ClearCorrect, which is a clear aligner therapy used to straighten teeth.

In her spare time, Dr. Rinehart enjoys reading, visiting family, improving her horse-riding skills, and cooking. Her immediate family resides in Seguin, TX, but she's come to love South Texas -the friendly people and good food in particular! She hopes to continue practicing dentistry in the Valley for many years to come.

Eddie, Hygienist

Edward Narvaez or “Eddie” as everybody calls him, is originally from Brownsville Texas. After graduating high school in 1983, he served in the United States Army for four years. He studied at The Academy of Health Sciences at Ft. Sam Houston being certified as a dental laboratory technician and a dental assistant. After his first tour, he went on to join the United States Naval reserves where he was attached to a medical unit as the sole dental technician. He attended dental hygiene school at Del Mar College in Corpus Christi. In 1993, he received his Associates Degree in dental hygiene and minored in calculus. He has been practicing dental hygiene for the past 31 years, where he has honed his craft. His vision is to benefit our patients oral health with his professionalism and knowledge. He also uses humor to break through to the toughest patients. We are thoroughly enjoying having him be part of the team!

As a dedicated social media and clinical assistant, she not only helps behind the scenes but also ensures every patient has a positive experience. Her kindness and bright smile instantly put patients at ease, making each visit more comfortable.
Passionate about patient care, Julie loves seeing the transformation and confidence that comes with progress. Her favorite procedures include cosmetic cases—veneers, whitening, aligners, implants, and full-mouth transformations—where she can witness firsthand the impact of a beautiful smile.

Dedicated Registered Dental Assistant with 3 years of experience providing compassionate patient care and chairside support. She is skilled in assisting with dental procedures, and ensuring a comfortable experience for patients. She is passionate about helping others achieve healthy smiles while maintaining high standards of infection control and patient education. Sam is a team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.
